With BlackBerry Media Sync, you can synchronize your music playlists from your iTunes or your Windows Media Player or other player library to your Blackberry. Even it is a random mix of tunes, it can also be successfully synced to your Blackberry. BlackBerry Media Sync supports the following audio file types: .wav, .wma, .mp3, .aac, and .m4a.
If it is the first time you use BlackBerry Media Sync, you may not be familiar with its general steps, so this article is provided to guide you how to set up Blackberry Media Sync which can make you select your preferred settings.

1. Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer.
2. On your computer, on the taskbar, click Start > Programs > BlackBerry > BlackBerry Media Sync.
3. In the Device section, perform the following actions:
- In the Name your device field, type a personalized name for your device.< /li>
- If your device includes on-board device memory and you want to save your songs to this memory type instead of a media card, in the Music location drop-down list, click Device Memory.< /li>
- In the Keep this amount of memory free field, specify the amount of memory that you want to keep free for files other than music files.
4. In the Music section, perform the following actions:
- In the Select music library section, select iTunes or Windows Media Player.< /li>
- If you selected iTunes® and want to import album art into BlackBerry Media Sync, click Import.
5. Click OK.
After the setting, you can easily sync your favorite songs, photos and others to Blackberry as you wish.
